Evercheck applies the same LISA and BOB principles of Basket-Based Loss to Cart-Based Loss – leading to the loss recovery at self-checkout for any unscanned items left inside or at the bottom of the shopping cart. Evercheck will trigger real-time alerts to store associates to assist customers when it detects unscanned items as payment begins. Importantly, alerts are only generated for the retailer’s products, not personal items (e.g. cell phones, handbags, hoodies).

Evercheck applies the same LISA and BOB principles of Cart-Based Loss at self-checkout to the staffed lanes. Real-time alerts will nudge the store associates to double check inside and underneath the shopping cart when it detects unscanned items as payment begins. As with self-checkout, alerts are only generated for the retailer’s products, not personal items (e.g. cell phones, handbags, hoodies).

Everseen invented the “nudge”, a real-time prompt encouraging the shoppers to rescan items, via a GIF pointing to the unscanned item. Similarly, it provides a real-time alert for associates to verify scan accuracy at staffed lanes.
